Aemilia Arthemis the Fairy Bard; College of Tragedy

My excitement couldn’t be contained when they announced the official release of Bard’s subclass College of Tragedy! Immediately, I opened my trusty excel file filled with tables and I rolled the dice—it landed on Fairy! :D

Filled with joy, I decided to start making ideas for her. At first, I was thinking of the outer dress becoming semi-transparent with some incandescent colouring, but then I couldn’t think of nice inner clothing that matches the subclass I wanted. So, I scrapped that idea and kept it simple. Aemi now wears a simple funeral-like outfit with a mask.

When it comes to her wings, I searched up lots of butterflies, and the one that caught my eye was the red-spotted purple butterfly. Limenitis arthemis, and you can probably guess where her second name come from. It’s also cool how it resembles Artemis who’s the goddess of the wild. Her first name is the Latin origin of Emilia—specifically, a reference to Othello’s character. Correct me if I’m wrong since the dunning kruger effect always hits me.

Her mannerism would definitely be a drama queen and lively. Without her mask, she’d be stoic and introverted.

I still haven’t decided what type of instrument she would use. I was thinking the triangle would work. And it can be quite cute for her to play it that way. Another good one suggested by my friend is the harp. I would be happy to hear your suggestions!
